Phosphene, 2020

A light installation which used the effect of Phosphene - a phenomenal visual effect produced by putting pressure on eyes - to visualise the souls "floating" in the reincarnation cycles. The main purpose of this installation, however, is to create a sense of awe and illusional that can take the audience away from the actual gallery space, and lead the into the world of their mind. The acrylic sheet - which was also painted with patterns of phosphorescent paints and gels - acted as a door that separate the space of imagination and illusion (installation space) from the space of the reality).
